Richard C. White is a mundane who came to Xanth one year prior to Harpy Thyme. He installed septic tanks for the Black Wave and Curse Friends in exchange for them helping him build his house near the fringe of the Region of Madness. Richard is married to Janet Hines, and they help other lost mundanes acclimate to Xanth. They took in Richard Siler. Richard has a sister in Mundania who he misses.
