Blue Front was a home-appliance retailer in Glendale, California that serviced the entire Los Angeles metro area before World War III. Blue Front was owned by Glendale resident Herschel Weissman. After the Soviet Union successfully destroyed downtown L.A. with two atomic bombs on March 2, 1951, Blue Front (which was far enough away to survive) fell into desperate financial straits. This article is a stub because the work is part of a larger, as-of-yet incomplete series.
