Red Death was a disease on the asteroid planet of Gandorth. The first symptom was a greenish gray hue to the skin, next came the blood ozzing sores, then loss of hair. The skin of a victim would then become gray. Once the side effects have come to a halt a large red fungi would rip out of the host's chest, hence the name red death, releasing millions of spores.
