Meonid of the Ito-Clan was the leader of a group of Balchoth assassins, who had been entrusted with the disruption of Éotheod political stability. His mission was a prelude to the coming Balchoth invasion. Two of his minions were killed by the Beiabarnae after they had attempted to slay an Éotheod Thegn, but two others — Adajo Bom and Nevido Smod — had enjoyed modest success. Perpetrating a series of six murders in Framsburg, they had left the town in an uproar.
