Theodore John Cottrell "T. J." Cottrell, Jr. (born May 3, 1982 in Buffalo, New York) is an American football tight end who is currently a free agent. He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2004. He played college football at Buffalo State. Cottrell has also been a member of the San Diego Chargers, Rochester Raiders and New York Sentinels. He is the son of former NFL linebacker Ted Cottrell.
