The Philippine snap presidential elections of 2014 were held on Monday, April 28, 2014.The ruling President of the Philippines, Benigno Aquino III was resigned after the 2014 Philippine revolution by the people want to revise the 1987 Constitution, thus necessitating an election to select the sixteenth President. After the revolution the Congress elects the acting president Rodrigo Duterte and acting prime minister Miriam Defensor-Santiago would not take part of the snap elections The Commission of Elections was not implemented the automated election and implemented manual voting system.
