Green glie was a plant which grew in deep swamps. It spread very quickly and was eaten by ollopom. It choked out other swamp molds and was related to red glie. Green glie, when refined with certain other chemicals, could be used to make a number of dangerous and potent poisons, effective on Humans and Near-Humans. The poisons were particularly effective because they were tasteless and odorless. On Naboo, after the underworld discovered this fact, glie poisons became part of their secret arsenal. Some assassins were known to purchase the substances on that world for use in their trade.
