She married Abraham Simpson I and had five children: "Old Tut" Simpson, Lou Simpson, Hugo Simpson Sr., Dulcine Simpson and Gaston Simpson. She is Abe's great-grandmother and the great-great-grandmother of Homer, Abbie and Herbert Powell and the great-great-great-grandmother of Bart, Lisa, Maggie and Stanley
