The Constitution of New Cambria is the primary source of existing law in New Cambria. New Cambria has functioned under three constitutions, the first from 1956 to 1961, and the second from 1961 to 2009. A third constitution was approved by the Assembly and by voters, and went into effect 1 January 2010.
