The Girl Customer bought a pair of jeans from Baldwin's Casuals when Mike Baldwin was forced to sell unsold stock on Weatherfield Market. Mike arrived early on to see how Ivy Tilsley and Ida Clough were getting on and Mike checked behind the flap of the canvas stall where the girl was getting changed. She was indignant at the intrusion but a cheeky Mike, forgetting the principles of good customer service, told her he'd seen more on television the night before but the one he'd seen had been a little belter! Despite this treatment, the girl bought the jeans, telling Mike he was a cheeky devil as he grinned and thanked her for her custom.
