Jeanette Lee (born on July 9, 1971 in Brooklyn, New York and of Korean origin) is professional pool player under the nickname of "Black Widow". She's called that due to her own policy of only wearing black during pool contests. She also usually wears a half-glove when playing to reduce the risk of perspiration to the cue. Jeanette started playing pool in 1989 and went pro in 1993. She became the #1 female world professional pool player during the 1990s; and in 1998, Lee won the Women's Professional Billiard Association (WPBA) Sportsperson of the Year Award. In recent years, Jeanette switched to professional speed pool, she even competed against male pool players.
