Amarisk has high mountains along its southern shore — whose peaks have eternal snowcaps, inspite of the tropical location — and most of its area is the drainage basin of the Juliffe. To the west of Amarisk lies open ocean. Sarell, an equatorial desert continent, lies in the antipodes of Amarisk.
