Eddia is the title for a Queen of Eddis, as both consort queens or queens regnant. Helen, guided by divine knowledge that she will be the last sovereign of Eddis, elects to rule using the the masculine title of Eddis rather than the expected feminine title of Eddia. Her decision to take the title Eddis, while controversial, was eventually accepted.
