Zirakbhund (S. "Mallost") was a large underground-hall below the northern peaks of the Ered Luin and the place of the awakening of the Broadbeams and Firebeards.It was one of Zirakbhund´s forsaken mines that became the short-term refuge of Arvedui, the last King of Arthedain before his death. It was (with Edennogrod) the larges mine of the Nan-i-Naugrim, founded by the Firebeards, like Nornhabar in the Harered Luin.
