It is a common misconception that when using abilities, the drygore mace is weaker than the rapier or longsword because of its lower damage rating. As weapon speed affects ability damage, the three weapon types offer the same damage per second. All drygore weaponry may be augmented using an Augmentor from the Invention skill. Each drygore weapon contains a single perk slot, into which a weapon perk can be added.
