Arakis Prime was a planet located in the Arakis star system in the space of the galaxy's Delta Quadrant. Arakis Prime's atmosphere contained magnesium vapor, and crystalline glaciers spread across a surface covered by magnesite dusts. This world was explored by the crew of the Federation starship USS Voyager in the year 2373. The Doctor remembered fondly that Arakis Prime was the site of one of his earliest away team missions. In 2376, he told Seven of Nine about the 'sheer beauty' of Arakis Prime. (VOY episode: "One Small Step")
