Mithrel Merian was a male senator from Alderaan during the Seswenna Security Crisis. A newly-appointed senator, he aligned himself with the Probitas pro populus faction and its leadership. When the crisis unfolded, he was brought in by Supreme Chancellor Anwis Eddicus, a PPP member himself, as another trusted advisor. Merian was present for the initial discussion with Jedi Master Yoda, and he was also available during the press conference that Eddicus held announcing a partial quarantine of some sectors to mitigate the spread of the Death Seed Plague.
