Arsene is the only enemy in the game that drops Critical Up crystals; a crystal type that cannot be found in any ether deposit. It can also drop Bunnia Scent Wood, which is needed both for one route of A Young Captain's Challenge and for Colony 6 Reconstruction, but it is not the only source.
