The Great Silence was a Mastery 4 atemi mystical air kiho that allowed the monk to intermingle their chi with that of another, disrupting their ability to focus their thoughts. The kiho was one of the strangest known to the Brotherhood of Shinsei and subject to much debate. Some viewed it as a weapon against those who did not comprehend it, while others believed it a non-violent means of ending a conflict. The kiho required eye contact, and if successful the target was struck mute lasting for several minutes.
