Lorna Frayus was born in Alderaan House Frayus, to parents Baron Neran Frayus, who worked as an ambassador and Baroness Isaly Frayus, née Felark. Her mother was Lorrdian, coming from a family that had fled slavery on their home world. Lorna's middle name Summer was given as her mother gave birth to her on the first day of the House Frayus Summer Festival. After obtaining her master's degree at age 21, Lorna studied more, this time to become a doctor. She completed her specialization at age 29, graduating in Pulmonology. She did her fellowship on Rori between age 27 and 29.
