The Lightning Rod Mark I was released in 1882, capable of accelerating to upwards of 150 miles per hour in ten seconds. In 2002, the Lightning Rod Mark VII was released, capable of accelerating to 300 miles an hour in five seconds. Lightning Rod brooms retailed for upwards of 100,000 Galleons (US$ 1,000,000), and were only available through direct purchase at the company offices on Kinnimoore.
