This specific porpoise is almost identical in appearance to a normal Spectacled Porpoise, except for the fact that it has a white patch resembling a smear of paint marking its dorsal fin. As well as this, it has a white streak extending from behind each of its eyes, adding to its distinctiveness from normal porpoises.
