John Shmyr (born January 2, 1945 in Cudworth, Saskatchewan) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey player who played 89 games in the World Hockey Association (WHA) for the Winnipeg Jets, Chicago Cougars and Vancouver Blazers. He scored 2 goals and 8 assists in the WHA. He retired in 1975.
