Todd Andrew Smyly (born June 13, 1989) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball. Prior to beginning his professional career, he played college baseball at the University of Arkansas. Smyly has also competed for the United States national baseball team, winning the silver medal in the 2011 Pan American Games. Smyly made his debut on April 12, 2012 in a victory against the Tampa Bay Rays.
