Rhya was the Mother-goddess of the Old Faith, but, in the popular relgion of the Old World, her role is much diminished. She is the wife of Taal and he has taken over most of her attributes as a deity of the earth and the natural world. She is sometimes worshipped in conjunction with Taal, but does not have her own cult or temples. Rhya is also worshipped as Haleth, Goddess of Hunting, in wild areas throughout the northern Empire and as Dyrath, the Fertility Goddess, in the pastoral and agricultural ares of the Reikland.
