Water Release: Hidden Rain Jutsu is an A rank technique originally created in Amegakure to be used by its water release users. It is derived from the Black Rain technique, but instead of spending chakra changing the water to oil, it instead focuses on creating large volumes of water. After the hand seals are made, the user expels water-natured chakra into the air, and it forms a localized cloud in an approximately 5-meter radius around the user. Then, the cloud begins a torrential rain for a few minutes. This technique has a high chakra requirement, so it is usually only used prior to large battles to set up favorable conditions for the user or unfavorable for their opponent.
