Ody was an Er'Kit male on Tatooine during the Invasion of Utapau in 22 BBY. Once a swoop racer, Ody went on to own a shop in the Anchorhead settlement. While a racer, Ody had been a rival of Annikin Skywalker, a moisture farmer who also raced, but once they both stopped racing they became friends. Skywalker saw Ody as once having been grouchy and stressed due to the races, but felt the Er'Kit became more joyful after he finished racing.
