Javis was a planet in Tapani sector's Javis system. Tampson Consolidated, Incorporated moved its headquarters from the Mid Rim to Javis and took a loan from House Mecetti. House Mecetti ensured Tampson defaulted on the loan, thus gaining control of the company.
