Bark Biter is a strange creature found in the forests of the western coast of the Inland Sea. Its appearance is similar to that of a tree. It stays in this state until a potential prey walks near. Then it releases sticky tendrils from its body to entrap its intended victim. On contact with the prey the tendrils will grow taut and then begin to drag the prey towards the trunk-like body. In the trunk are mouths and at the tips of the apparent branches are eyes.
