Banshee was a Sphinxian treecat who bonded with Roslee Orndorff. He was a good bit younger than Nimitz, but shared the latter's low sense of humor. He also did not seem to have minded having a "female" human name. (HH10) Banshee and Commander Orndorff were killed in 1921 PD, when HMS Intransigent's flag bridge was destroyed by enemy fire during the Battle of Manticore. (HH11)
