The Barbaros and Gigantes are denizens of Ascano that were former allies of the Sapiryan empire under King Armeo. Their loyalty to the kingdom faded when the Empire has fallen and was invaded by the Hathorian Empire. They became independent Encantados after that and resided in Ascano and don't know and follow any other leader but their's. They were formerly led by the Gigante, Vish'ka. After Vish'ka's death, their new leader is pressumably Wahid. When Ybrahim reigned as King of Sapiro, the Barbaros and Gigantes became allies of the kingdom of Sapiro and even Lireo. When Hathoria was re-established by their Hara Pirena the Barbaros and Gigantes also allied to them.
