Black dragons are not generally known for their keen intellects, which makes the famous dragon Esaolathus stand out even more. He is said to have tricked a Taldan baron into giving him unlimited hunting rights within the noble's entire domain. Upon signing the agreement, Esaolathus began to (quite legally) kill every man, woman, and child in the barony.
