Mr. Fearnley officiated at the wedding of Alf Roberts and Renee Bradshaw in March 1978. Two years later, in Episode 2029, Bill Croasdale would play a similar role, named as Mr Cartwright in dialogue, at the wedding of Emily Bishop and Arnold Swain.
