Kira Nerys used a Bajoran tricorder to find the survivors of a Cardassian freighter, Ravinok, carrying Bajoran prisoners. (DS9: "Indiscretion") Playmates Toys released a toy of the Bajoran tricorder in 1996. A prop of the Bajorian tricorder was used in the Enterprise episode "Canamar" as a control device for the prisoners restraints.
