The Nurse worked at the Garney Hospital in Wales where several residents of Coronation Street were on a camping holiday. The patients were Beth Sutherland who had developed an allergy to a herbal balm she had applied for a hornet sting, and Hope Stape who hadn't been eating and had been lethargic for the past twenty-four hours. The nurse was specifically interested in the young girl and having seen that she was also running a high temperature, took her through for an examination which subsequently showed that she was anaemic.
