Had the movie been made the way Britt Allcroft wanted it, there would have been a scene where Stacy shows Lily a picture of a young Burnett and Tasha dancing; leading to a lengthy flashback of the dance, while a young P.T. Boomer watches angrily from the sidelines. The music from the dance was retained in some of the nighttime scenes at Burnett's workshop, although this time on his radio.
