The MerKaBa is an interdimensional travel field around a person made up of two interlocking counter rotating star tetrahedrons. It can help one travel from place to place, or protect one from outside influence. The name is made up of three other words. Mer refers to light. Ka refers to an individual's spirit, while Ba refers to the body. Thus Mer-Ka-Ba refers to an individual's "light spirit body".
