Salvatore Barone was the father of Joseph, Mario, Ciccio, Federico and Sarina Barone; grandfather of Frank and Mel Barone's; great-grandfather of Robert and Raymond Barone's; and great-great-grandfather of Ally, Geoffrey and Michael Barone. It seems that he comes from long tradition of fathers hitting their children, which stopped when Frank had Robert and Raymond. He once made Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini wet himself. Salvatore was, thus, the sardine packer who stole the surname Barone (Mia Famiglia).
