The JCS12FM features neck-through-body construction with African mahogany wings under a flamed maple top mated to a mahogany and bubinga Wizard neck with a 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with offset abalone dot position markers. Components include DiMarzio pickups with two humbuckers flanking a single-coil, an Edge Zero double locking tremolo bridge with a removable zero-point system tuning stabilizer, a locking nut, Gotoh Free Lock II strap pins and Gotoh tuning machines. The JCS12QM is a similar model with a quilted maple top. The JCS12FM was offered only in 2012.
