The Flood Gigas is an enemy in the Dawn of Souls and succeeding versions of the original Final Fantasy. While its name implies that it is part of the same family as the Hill Gigas and its ilk, the Flood Gigas' appearance shows that it is of the same family as the Gigas Worm. They appear in levels 21 - 29 of the Whisperwind Cove. Despite their name, they are not of the Water element, and hence, not weak to Lightning attacks.
