Aaron Aikman was a scientist who specialized in insect and arachnid venoms. He secretly was splicing his DNA with that of a spider to give himself superhuman powers. He also created a power suit to supplement his powers with hi-tech sensor and weaponry. Calling himself Spider-Man, he fought a weather-controlling super-villain and an alien-possessed cyborg, only to die at the hands of Morlun.
