The Confederation Navy was the navy of the Confederate Systems during the War of Secession, and was formed in 4 BBY. Through the efforts of the Navy's commander-in-chief, Nicole Kroger and vigorous Congressional support in the face of stiff opposition, the fleet cumulatively became relatively substantial when considering the limitations imposed upon the Confederate supply pool. The Marine Corps were the foot soldiers of the Navy.
