Ko Sai was a female Kaminoan, was Chief Scientist of the creation of the Grand Army of the Republic and member of the Kaminoan High Council on Kamino. It was her responsibility to ensure that all the Fett clones were of the highest quality, overseeing all the biological aspects of the project. She also directed the "processing method" of the clones that failed to meet her expectations. Although very few clones escaped from her grasp, one notable clone who actually escaped her grasp was Merkai, a clone trooper who contained the consciousness of the deceased CIS Commander: Merai.
