This was the seventh edition of the competition with four teams competing. Those were, the usual inclusion of hosts Arsenal of the Premier League, Benfica of the Primeira Liga, Monaco of Ligue 1 and Valencia of La Liga. The competition took place over the weekend of 2–3 August 2014. The usual points system which awards 3 for a win, 1 for a draw and 0 for a loss is supplemented by a point being awarded for each goal scored. Galatasaray were the defending champions, after winning the 2013 edition.
