Yorktown is a town in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. Most of the town is an historic site. The town was one of the original shires of Virginia during colonization and was the site of surrender of Lord Cornwallis, which ended the American Revolution. The town had a population of 195 as of the 2010 US Census.
