Burrhead Nantz is a former NASCAR driver from Mooresville, NC. He ocmpeted in three Nextel Cup Series events in his career. All of those races came in the 1960 season, when Nantz debuted at Daytona, racing in the Daytona 500 qualifier. Starting 13th in the race, Nantz completed all but two laps in route to a 20th place finish, a career best. It was also enough for Nantz to make the 500, but he only managed to finish 66th in that race. In his career finale, at North Wilkesboro, Nantz matched his career best with a 20th place effort.
