Maris Ferasi and Jorj Car'das attempted to use one when Force Commander Mitth'raw'nuruodo was injured and had a hole torn in his vacc suit during the Battle near the Crustai base. It would not bond correctly to the material and Maris had to stop the air from leaking out of his suit by pushing her chest against his until two Chiss arrived with a larger patch.
