The Callinon system was a planetary system in the Gamma Quadrant. This system was located inside Dominion space, near the Karemma system. The USS Defiant entered the Callinon system in 2371 while searching for the Founders. After arriving at Callinon VII, the starship was forced to leave the system by Jem'Hadar forces. (DS9: "The Search, Part I") According to Star Trek: Star Charts (p. 74), the primary of the Callinon system was a M-class star.
