Mogador was a country located in North Africa, Morocco. It is where Gurkhan lived with his wives and slaves, and held auctions to buy new ones. Xena, Gabrielle, Virgil and Eve travelled here to resuce Sarah, Gabrielle's niece and the daughter of Lila, who had become the favoured wife of Gurkhan. After she was rescued, Xena and Gabrielle helped a group of Nomads fight off the Romans here. However when Gabrielle kills the son of one of their leaders, Tazere, it creates tension between Xena and Gabrielle and the Nomads. Gabrielle is later forgiven when she saves Tazere from being killed by a Roman.
