Two days into the apocalypse he was being transfered on a prsison bus. While he was in there he had a heated argument with another prisoner Jerry the two fought so much that Crabtree began to strangle Jerry with his cuffs. He didn't even stop after a guard pointed a shot gun at his face. He managed to strangle him to the point Jerry died. The guard however blasted Crabtree with the gun and he died instantly.
